The performance is very bad when used for heavy games, even though the description says it is quite capable, but if you try it in real life, this chipset is sucks

If you are looking for a processor that is not the most expensive flagship in the world and has an AV1 encoder, the only exception are the Google Tensor systems (from the G3 version onwards) used in Pixels (e.g. Pixel 8, 9). These were the first mobile SoCs with AV1 encode acceleration, although at the time of release, Android had not yet fully exploited this feature.

I like the Pixel 8 but I'm a gamer and it was lagging when I was playing Wild Rift when my A54 doesn't lag with it at higher graphical settings. The Pixel 8 runs Asphalt 8 at a higher frame rate than the A54. If anyone knows how to increase Pixel 8 performance in Wild Rift that would be great, unless it's an optimization thing that Riot just needs to fix.

The Pixel 7 is superior; however, if you're looking to enhance performance, you might want to try using a phone cooler.

Most games are not yet optimized for Google Tensor G3, you will have to wait about 3-4 months.

It may lag behind the competition, but it's not entirely a bad chip. I wonder if they will use this for the Pixel 8a. That would be nuts!

Google introduced the Google Pixel 8a with the Tensor G3 chipset just like in the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro.

In terms of performance, it doesn't seem bad. I mean, the chip is clocked at a lower speed than the SD 8 Gen 2 or D9200.
