Imagine having a Samsung Galaxy S4. It could overheat while watching YouTube in 480p and shut down after telling you it's too hot. The soc was above 80Β°C while doing literally anything. Sometimes if I touched a upper portion of the screen my fingers would hurt due to excessive heat

I have redmi turbo 4 pro, its normal to heat up on extreme games, what do you even play to overheat that bad, in normal games i never overheat, and im extreme i usually reach 45C after 20 mins, if you used 8 gen 3 its literally the same but slightly better

F6 Pro have a better screen plus can shoot 8K videos, otherwise the F7 is better in almost all areas.

Expected a lower clocked SD 8 Gen 3, but they pulled something brand new. Snapdragon pulled big this time and screwed Mediatek's strategy. The issue? Seems that the chip is so good that can hurt SD 8 Elite sales since the difference won't be that extreme at all. They should called it, Snapdragon 7 or 8 Plus.

Lower clocked 8 Gen 3 exists it's called 8s Gen3. This is a successor to that. And it won't hurt SD 8 Elite sales at all, it offers about 30% lower performance and doesn't use the same massive Oryon cores used by the 8 Elite.

The CPU cores share 8 MB of L3 cache. The Adreno 825 has 2 GPU slices, each having 4 cores and 4 MB cache for a total of 8 cores, 8. MB cache and 1024 ALUs (shaders), for comparison the 8 Elite has 3 GPU Slices, 12 cores, 12 MB cache and 1536 ALUs. It's clocked at 1.10 - 1.150 GHz. The System Level Cache is increased to 6 MB. This SoC is on par with both Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 outside benchmarks and is potentially better in most day to day use cases due to superior efficiency in low clock speeds.

I've found out in the latest update of Adreno GPUs in Wikipedia that the Adreno 825 has a total of 1024 shading units & then has 1150 MHz clock speed & the FP32 GFLOPS is 2355.2 higher than the FP32 GFLOPS of dimensity 8400 GPU

Dimensity 8400 is better, honestly. As usual, the battery drain on this chip will be huge.
