Poco X7 pro 8/256 for 284€...Poco f7 12/256 for 389€...I got Poco X7 pro 12/512 for 300€ and I'm using it one month now...I also used Poco f7 12/256 for 2 weeks from a friend....From this little experience I can tell you one thing: I don't know how but mediatek feels smoother than snapdragon. I'm still trying to figure it out because it makes no sense...Snapdragon on paper wins, especially in GPU and single core performance...But in real life when you put the phones side by side u barely notice the difference...and yes dimensity OPEN MOST APPS FASTER!! In gaming? Well both handle genshin impact 60 fps ultra....though here comes the slight better GPU of snapdragon to push fps up to even 90 with wild boost!! Both these results are insane for the price those phones come to!! Keep competition to peak so we customers can select between cheap but killer options!

How can you have played Genshin at 90 FPS when it's capped at 60? Wildboost and the Xiaomi/Poco Game Turbo stats are the most inaccurate in the industry - and has been since MIUI 14. That app is notorious of showing 120fps in 60 FPS capped games, and over 60 FPS when it's clearly struggling with a game below 30 FPS. Download Scene is you want accurate numbers. Never trust Poco/Xiaomi software to actually do anything or be accurate. Half of HOS are buttons with 0 code under it - like super resolution for Genshin impact that doesn't change anything at all.

Qualcomm Snapdragon is always TOP processor as vs mid range MediaTek. The same as Intel is TOP vs low coast AMD. Over the years, MediaTek and other manufacturers have continued to try to catch up with Qualcomm's higher-end products, and they have never been as good as the original.Optimization mainly for SD and Intel, and that says something :)Of course, thanks to this race, Qualcomm and Intel are becoming better, and neither of them would be as good today without the chase of MediaTek and AMD. The most important thing is that we as customers have a choice:)

Both have same amount of teraflops (2.3TF). CPU power don't matter because phone CPUs are already on entry PC level. The only reason Snapdragon beats Mediatek is memory bandwidth which is 13% faster 77 Gbit/s (snap) vs 68 Gbit/s (Mediatek)

Dimensity 8000 / 9000 series are great in gaming in other hand SD , exynos , tensor are better in editing and photography apps, SD uses big gpu in Andreno gpu blocs with less pipe lines which drain the batterie faster and heat up the CPU as well however SD soc are great in gaming for a short term i think dimensity is better for a long term gaming with longer performence

Are you serious? Look back at the previous Dimensity and Snapdragon performance. For example: MTK1100 vs SD865. MTK was better, and now in 2025, it really sucks. The temperature is freaking high, and FPS in gaming is shit.

Disappointed that Qualcomm went with the 2023 release A720 over the A725. A725 biggest gains were power efficiency. It's similar to what they did with the SD8G2 mixing A710 and A715, like why do they keep doing this thing. Judging from the garbage Iqoo Neo 10—they could really need that efficiency badly. It's so hot it's almost unplayable without a cooler (49c in Genshin). My X7 Pro runs it better and cooler. I have my gripes with MTK too that I think the GPU were underwhelming in the D8400 compared to what the D8300 brought over the D8200. MTK could have added a few more cores—10% gains is honestly embarrassing. Phones with this will probably be 150€ over D8400/X7 Pro in EU.

if they go with A725 it will beat the 8 gen 3 so bad which is not good since 8 gen 3 is Flagship and still use today ex. POCO F7 ULTRA uses 8 Elite POCO F7 Pro uses 8 gen 3 POCO F7 uses 8s gen 4 so assume they use A725 it will fking beat everyone in Price to Performance

kem, Qualcomm still doesn't have a single SoC with A725's, which is disappointing considering how much of an upgrade A725 are over A720. If you play a game where both the X7 Pro and F7 can do 60 FPS/max, the X7 Pro will win on efficiency/battery/thermals alone. And the D8400 can currently max any android game you throw at it - which essentially means the above is true for every game. It's just weird to still be stuck on 2023 A720 in 2025, and the throttling situation could've been avoided/mitigated. There's better ways to avoid market cannibalism.

Good joke, bro. I've played Geshin for 4 hours straight on my Poco F7 and only reached a maximum of 45C without color, and 120 FPS with interpolation. It's not an oven after all, and it maintains better stability than your MTK 8400 Ultra. 78% (SD) vs 59.5% (MTK)

Snapdragon 8 elite gen 5, Lie some more, pulling random numbers out your crack. Your name tells it all, typical Qualcomm fanboy hivemind. A720 cores will never beat A725 at anything, that's fact - not an opinion. It's much more efficient at the same task over a720. Only a fool would try to deny that - like you. You only reached 45c because that's the thermal limit set by Xiaomi before it throttles hard. It's been the case for half a decade. Maybe you should go to GSMArena and see how it did under the thermal camera (46c). So hot it was too uncomfortable to hold. Not even an aluminum frame can save the 8SG4. Enjoy frying eggs.

The only problem with MediaTek is in multiplayer gaming: sudden frame drops even with chips like D8100 and 8300, which is not weird at all as games do not optimize their pipelines for MediaTek as compared to Adreno found in Qualcomm SoCs. But MediaTek runs cooler and offers more value for money in the upper mid-range than any Snapdragon.

Everytime Mediatek releases a better upper midrange chip Qualcomm had to be 1 time ahead of it, the Dimensity8000 series dint meant to win against the Snapdragon7gen+ and 8ge(S) its was just there to keep Qualcomm better at the Competition..the Dimensity8100 was a huge slap back to reality to Qualcomm the days where Snapdragon was lagging behind Mediatek during the Triple-8 and 8gen1 years, Qualcomm's SD7gen1 was a terrible flop that it was force to release Lesser version of Snapdragon8gen1+ known as the 7gen2+ to get back up from competition again in upper midrange. Mediatek Dimensity8000 series keep giving Pressure to Qualcomm to be better, the SD7gen2+ and even the 8sgen3+ reportedly negative net income for Qualcomm since Qualcomm are desperate to win the competition that's why we see 8sgen3(PocoF6) phones as cheap as 380-400$ about 50$ pricy than the Dimensity8300 phone(PocoX6pro). Dimensity8400 was not to be underestimated it even wiped the with Tensor G4

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is an absolute powerhouse, boasting an impressive core architecture that catapults it to the forefront of mobile processing. Notably, its GPU is sam is on par with that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, making it an attractive option for gamers and performance enthusiasts. However, one potential drawback is the absence of efficiency cores, which could lead to slightly elevated power consumption. Nevertheless, this concern is somewhat mitigated by the advent of silicon-carbon batteries, which enable larger battery capacities and more efficient energy storage. While these batteries may have shorter lifespan, typically around 1.5/2 years, still this can be easily addressed by replacing them with new ones. In light of these factors, it's advisable to prioritize devices featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 over alternatives shitty over hyped Dimensity 8400, especially for those seeking unparalleled gaming performance.

Wuthering waves highest setting with dips to. 56 or 58 so ut can play every game on ultra so it is not shitty . In fact i consider it very good value since phones that are much more exensive like honor 300 . Galaxy A56 and pixel 9 a all have weaker cpus

And they are, the A5xx cores from ARM are completely obsolete in terms of performance, and the idle efficiency of A7xx has only gotten better and better throughout every generation, to a point where those "E-cores" are no longer needed. Explaining why chipsets like the Apple A18 pro, Dimensity 9400, 9300, 8400, Snapdragon 8 Elite and 8s Elite are like this.
