After seeing 2600 now im curious if 2500 gpu can still improve, after suffering low yield 2500 almost become non existent it barely survived for the Flip idk if it have a time for optimization, now looking at 2600 in just few months it manage to be on par with 8Egen5 actually im kinda disappointed that S26Fe would feature Exynos 2500 but i still kinda curious how it will perform on a proper phone with enough cooling system
The GPU compute number is incorrect. This GPU is the same as a Radeon 980M. 1028 shaders but at 2.9 GHz the Radeon 980M peaks at 5.9 Tflops. Xclipse peaks at 1ghz so it should have a bit more that 2 Tflops
Hey, the new Exynos 2600 website saying the specs is out... I don't know if it's true fr because I don't know much of the topic, but here is what I found:
https://semiconductor.samsung.com/processor/mobile-processor/exynos-2600/
There is a mistake in the Exynos 2500 processor, the battery and energy efficiency is very low, (88), and many processors have numbers (90) and higher. Why is the Exynos 2500 (88,) and the processor was more energy efficient than its competitors? Make a modification to the battery so that the processor has (90) energy efficiency a battery. The new processor has high energy efficiency. Correct the mistake.
Wouldn't it be better to state the number of compute units or WGPs since this is an AMD GPU. "Pipelines" refers to WGPs in this sense since Xclipse 950 has 8 WGPs/ 16 compute units. And 940 has 6 WGPs/ 12 compute units.
The 940 is just a heavily down clocked version of the 780M
Think there is a mistake in the battery: 88? Battery life Exynos 2500 processor uses 3nm GAA with high power efficiency battery. Presumably changes battery number BATTERY LIFE to 90 or 91.
Modem Exynos 5400 -> Shannon 5163
Exynos modem is external, almost all Exynos SoC use internal modem.

In past we have battery and heating problem because of exynos processor. Did they solve it at least ?
And is exynos processor good for long term use like 7 or 8 years? Cause SD already started to doing future proofing in their processor.

Things are less impressive on the CPU side, unfortunately. The Galaxy Z Flip7 in its "SM-F766B" guise has made multiple trips to Geekbench and mostly underperformed. The last of those visits saw the foldable score 2,313 and 7,965 on the single-core and multi-core tests respectively, with both of those scores indicating CPU performance merely on par with last year's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Don't compare apples to oranges. Flip phones don't have much thermal headroom due to design and throttle. The 8G3 in the Flip6 scored ~2000/6000 on average.

Samsung should use their Exynos chips on tablets. They would totally use the power of the processor on there.
BTW, this got announced, so is real now.

Total shaders -> 1024
GPU frequency 1300 -> 999 MHz
FLOPS -> 4091.9

Multi core = 7563
Scores are pathetic. You need to update

iShowSpeed, Even though SOC Exynos has developments, there are still acute pre-Exynos haters. (They pay a license for AMD/free license companies) Making a custom GPU. For what height is the height of Antutu scores, the end is not useful too. Just a smartphone can score an Antutu score of 3 million still difficult. (If you are 3 million, what gaming want to use?)

Grammatical error - "an" 10-core is incorrect. It should be "a" 10-core.
Usually correct when writing "an" 8-core.

I think that Exynos CPU is top of the class but heat and reduced frequencies are what reduce its value. Also, the lack of support for the GPU of the Exynos processors from game developers is a terrible thing. I also find that Exynos image processing on Samsung phones is very wonderful.

Joe, The only thing they suck at is the modem, software support (apps like games), and the heat they made.

Joe, Top of the class, don't make me laugh. Exynos is just a cheap method Samsung uses to avoid paying Qualcomm. What's even worse is that they put it in their flagship S24 series. They went so far to convince people they were getting the same experience (Samsung sells Qualcomm chips in some countries, Exynos in others) that they underpowered the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 performance to appear equal in benchmarks to its inferior Exynos sibling. Don't you think it's weird the S24 Ultra is the only 8 Gen3 that didn't pass the 2 million mark on Antutu when it first launched?
I strongly believe that when the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 and Dimensity 9400+ launch in phones, the Exynos 2500 will still be inferior. Only when Samsung learns to make chips the right way, then Exynos could be top of the class.

Clint, Still don't know the real performance of the Exynos 2500 SoC. (If it's an Exynos 2500 SoC, use a custom AMD RDNA 4 GPU. Maybe it can compete with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 or SD 8 Gen 4 SoC). (Depending on the Arm Cortex X925 CPU clock, it could reach the Samsung Exynos 2500 later.)

Clint, Samsung flagship is always QC powered, as they don't put Exynos chips in Ultras. AnTuTu score is an aggregate and not a strict performance test, so things like not having 16GB of RAM affect the device score. If you're going to make bold claims, please stick to GB/WLE or similar benchmarks.
