I am a huge samsung fan but in nearly every case I will take a snapdragon chip over exynos.

Guys, I am a fan of Samsung, but even if Exynos is stronger in numbers, SD will be better in games because it has Turnip driver support and a lot of games optimized for it.

The exynos 2500 is not based on rdna 3.5. Their website said so.

How are you getting Compute GPU score of 24000. Im only getting 18000

That depends on temps; maybe they have used a thermal cooler and restricted background activity to zero and airplane mode.

Samsung's Exynos is a fake AP that stole Chinese technology. 3nm is actually a fake process that took SMIC's 65nm, and Samsung should return all its equipment to China and donate its foundry business to SMIC.

this is the most ridiculous claim I've ever seen July 17, 2025 at 06:36 AM
3nm has nothing to do with 65 nm. Almost all semiconductor equipment is dominated by the US, Japan, and Europe... not China lol. I hope you're being sarcastic.

We want to know more about the Exynos 2500 processor I heard that Samsung will use it in the cheaper devices S25 FE and S25, while the more expensive devices S25+ and S25 ULTRA will use the 8 GEN 4 processor. I really hope that this leak is confirmed because we are tired of the differentiation that occurs in processors depending on the region you are in.

I think Samsung could have used a 2+6+2 configuration (2 Cortex-X5 at 3.2GHz + 6 Cortex-A730 at 2.8GHz and 2 Cortex-A520 at 2.0GHz

VINO, Their Exynos 2400's 1+5+4 core configuration is actually not far from the 8 Gen 3's 1+5+2, as you can guess they just added two more efficiency A520 cores. They could still keep the same 1+5+4 but if they consider ARM's recommended configuration of 2+4+2 and uses the same decision of adding two more efficiency cores then they could do a 2+4+4.

X-925 and X-5 are the same ARM. They just renamed it to better align with their other cores.

Fact fact August 12, 2024 at 08:11 PM
The Cortex-X925 is what everybody predicted to be the Cortex-X5. In reality, what they did is to aligned the Cortex X series and Cortex A series so it's easier to know whether both belong to the same generation. And if ever you wonder why the there's no Cortex A525, it's actually because it is the same core design (although the refreshed A520 is better optimized than the first iteration although maybe it's attributed to the 3nm) so there's no need for a name change due to the lack of internal changes. Arm will probably design the new efficiency cores every 2 years so the next one could be the Cortex-A530 grouped with Cortex-X930 and Cortex-A730. The roadmap is (will probably be) like this: A75-A55 A76-A55 A77-A55 X1-A78-A55 X2-A710-A510 X3-A715-A510 X4-A720-A520 X925-A725-A520 X930-A730-A530
