Yeah the i9 13980HX is better and all but is it worth paying 600$ more?

Just want to add here that the i9-13980HX doesn't just have 0.2 ghz frequency but is also a better binned chip. This means it can reach the same frequency at slightly lower voltages, which is why it consistently scores better in multicore benchmarks even though it will never go near its max frequency.

It's kind of the same; the model 13980 is just a slightly overclocked version of the 13900. However, the performance between the two could potentially be the same if calibrated correctly through the BIOS.
