I agree with Anon. Please change the comparison to reflect the truth. The AMD processor outperforms the Intel in multi-core but you put them both at 100??? Then there is the key difference you listed....really!

Doesn't make sense. The 7945HX clearly performs better and consumes less power than your intel oven.

This is totally biased for Intel, looking at this seems like they both are close with the i9 slightly ahead when in reality the 7945HX is way faster at multi, same single core perf and vastly more efficient, it's not even a competition, AMD is vastly superior, besting even Apple on efficiency and performance with the 7945HX.

John, At 35 watts, yes, most times these chips are at 4-5 Ghz, meanwhile apple is at around 3.5. Drop the watts and watch the efficiency multiply.

Intel wants to get to the top of the charts. AMD is making processors for usable environments. So I prefer Amd

Do you consider less than 4 hours of battery life usable? Because that's what the Ryzen 9 7945HX gets. You can reply to this saying you don't believe AMD would ever release a product like that, but it's true. There's two reviews out on laptops with this CPU and it gets close to half the battery life of the i9-13980HX (which gets at minimum 6 hours).

Anon1, Yes, but performance is a more crucial thing for a laptop because its what makes the player enjoy the game they want a playable and smooth game but even if AMD only gives you 6 hours it's not like you will be playing 6 hours constantly you will probably play 2-3 hours and that's it.

Anonymous1, Who gives a shit about battery life? If you're buying the 7945hx or the 13980hx you're also buying a 4090 or 4080 laptop at the same time. So battery life is already 3 or 4 hours with a 17 or 18% screen at max settings. Literally, NO ONE is concerned with battery life in a gaming rig.
