I've seen far better performance on 780M and 890M on Youtube videos for gaming at 1080p. I'm talking about 70 to 150 FPS on EA shooter gamers and World of Warcraft. Even Counter Strike 2 is getting much higher FPS than what is shown here. Forza Horizon is getting 70 FPS with the 780M iGPU.

It's because they are playing at 1080p low settings while this benchmark shows us at 1080p high.

You can find way better deals on systems that have a 780.

Performance wise not much of a difference. We have to wait another half a decade till we see any proper "gaming apu" that's actually worth the money.

nope. Strix halo is already here but it needs to get cheaper. One way is to downgrade the AI Max+ 395 cpu to 8/16 core/thread which gives enough performance to not get cpu bottlenecked. Leave the 8060s(40 CU) as it is & you get a 4060 laptop gpu in a compact form with efficiency & no Vram limit.
