You've probably never played games on an emulator, right? Now you can play any PC game you want on GameHub. And everyone who uses emulators still needs a more powerful chipset every year until they can play games as well as a PC.

I wanted to buy 9500s but it was only in poco an i don't trust this brand I'm a student I can't gamble my money on it . So I went with iqoo15r well in pubg it's gives constant fps an stability is damn good . Tried wuthering too there was bit heat as the game is not optimised fully hence I played at 60fps tried for an hour only in intense fight there was few fps drop can say 3 points. But in genshin it was very stable . + i don't play emulation game . An lastly everyone knows any brand or game 1st optimised snapdragon chipset phone . An also depends on user how u use it .

for fully gaming, i don't recommend using POCO X8 Pro Max as there is no bypass charging, your battery health will be decreased faster due of it. but for daily, the phone is beast and will last longer than the software support is, by using 3rd party OS for updating the android, as the chipset is strong enough to last for decades.

Reviewer, It does have bypass charging. Here's how it works: when your phone gets hot (around 45Β°C), it stops charging the battery and directs the incoming power straight to the CPU and the rest of the phone's components. If the temperature is lower, it will gradually charge the battery while also powering the CPU at the same time. Once the battery reaches 100%, the charger powers the phone directly instead of continuing to charge the battery.

sorry no offense to everyone but I’m curious with what is the real purpose of chasing these benchmark scores? Is it for gaming, rendering, or actual productivity? If we’re talking about gaming, even a high-end SoC like the SD 8 Gen 5 or Dimensity 9500s doesn’t mean translate into a superior gaming experience. Most popular games like Genshin, Honkai, or Wuthering Waves is already run on midrange devices not the highest settings but can run smoothly. A top-tier SoC often just pushes a few more FPS or slightly higher settings, not a completely different level of gameplay. Meanwhile, in other side, devices with by older SoC like the A17 Pro are already running native AAA console ports (Resident Evil Remake series, assassin creed. etc.), utilizing hardware ray tracing to its full capability. On Android, we have the raw power, but where is the game that actually demands it? my view in gaming section, buying a device be it SD 8 Gen 5, Dimensity 9500s, or beyond doesn't necessarily improve the everyday Gameplay experience. for Rendering Section a new SoC just a few second faster than previous 1 - 2 generations. not worthy of upgrade unless jumping from entry level like Helio G99 into Dimensity 9500s that is a worthy upgrade. Even for daily work, my older SD 855 still runs MS Office, Gmail, and social media without any lag. For artists who need low latency for drawing, even an 8 Gen 3 or an older Exynos 990 handles it perfectly. Unless you are upgrading from an SD 680 to an 8 Gen 5, the difference in everyday usability is negligible.

Buddy you ever heard of emulator? Just because youre stupid doesnt mean others too! Theres massive community and developments on android Emulator and they demand powerfull chip to run even at "decent" FPS Now google "Gamehub" And try to run AAA games on it with your midrage devices. And Gamehub mop the floor with Apple console game remake because they only make like 5 console games

This reason why most advance smartphone users dedicated their time to check the benchmark either authentic or false. Benchmark most crucial for looking for processor capability if you eager want have powerful proccessor like you looking pc gpu card and cpu component. PC games Emulation become popular becuase of popularization of gamehub that give better support on every chipset before. Anyway, playing only GACHA on android very lame you know.

worth pointing that some games heavily optimize for Snapdragon 8 Elite/8 Elite Gen 5's core layout (2 super large cores instead of just 1), so even if Dimensity 9500s might be better theoretically, actual performance would have to depend on the game you're playing on

For emulation, even if 8 gen 5 has an "inferior" GPU, it'll pull ahead of Mediatek for now.

No one will buy 8 gen 5 for emulation, you can choose 8 elite (gen4) at the same price and better performance

RLR, 8 gen 5 is much cheaper. It's just 8 elite but binned.

MediaTek is playing this efficiency game really well. These scores are enough to play any android game at ultra graphics since even Dimensity 9300+ can handle all of them

Gaming wise, Single and multi cores are better in 8 gen 5 if you play single core games like PUBG go with it and if you want longevility better fps in other high graphics intensive games like wuwa, genshin impact go with 9500s easily it beats 8 gen 5 and 8 elite (in some cases)

In real life it's better than 8gen5 8gen5 slightly better than 8gen3 And weaker than 8 elite gen 4 Unlike 9500s on bar with 8elite gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 plus

But it's actually not. You can see in the "pros of Dimensity 9500S" it literally says that the D9500S has a 2x better performance on floating-computing Points. Which indicates better experience and performance when you use the SoC in everyday usage.

PocoM8, of course you would've said that because you use a mediocre SD chip. Your trashy M8 with slow ass 6 gen 3 doesn't make you a superior buyer btw. Snapdragon isn't "The Best" anymore, it's not like the early 2020s.
