Serhii, They may be confusing it with adreno 830, which for some reason shipped with vulkan 1.3
The system drivers that have been extracted from the 8 elite gen 5 show vulkan 1.4 support, so yes, it has vulkan 1.4
This chipset is definitely better than 8 Gen 3. It's also fabbed on the same node as 8 Elite Gen 5. Basing this off Geekbench, single-core and multi-core scores are pretty close to 8 Elite (8 Gen 4) while GPU compute score is closer to 8s Gen 4β¦

it has the same GPU as the 8 elite gen 5, it has similar CPU performance to the 8 elite, but it should be a lot more efficient due to the lower core frequencies
