9500s is way faster and cheaper. Good for Long term investment because the devices equipped with it have bigger batteries, excellent performance on all games with max fps at ultra graphics because even Dimensity 9300+ play them. With just simple ADB tweaks and a cooler you're good πŸ‘. No need for root or custom rom. On PC emulation it's rapidly receiving support even on directx 12 (vkd3d). Other emulators it runs excellent including PS2 and the rest. Nintendo switch emulation and ps3 emulation is on low support because of absence of custom drivers. It may come anytime soon. πŸŽ‰

Clark, no need to just get a redmi turbo 5 max, which is same x8 pro max but bigger battery (9500mah) and insane 100W charging for less money.

Not for PC/Console emulation, 8s gen 4 is still vastly superior in that regard, anything else yes.
