Why is there such a huge gap between the best midrange and high-end chips, while the difference between low-end and midrange chips is often tiny? When comparing different midrange chips with lower end ones on this website, the differences in performance are maybe 10-40%. But when comparing even the best midrange to the "worst" high-end chip, there is like a 300% difference?? It's like there is two distinct classes: high-end (e.g. snapdragon 8 series) and everything else (e.g every other snapdragon soc)
