I would like the Admins to double check their data on the Xring o3 because this is not representative of the real-world performance. Now that the Xiaomi 18 Fold is out and we have actual performance numbers from the chip inside a consumer device, the differences are staggering. Please check the info again. Your site is among the first that come out and the data is just extremely misleading.

The website data is correct regarding the Xring o3 LPDDR6 variant. All versions of the Xiaomi 18 Fold are equipped with Xring o3, but there's an important detail: Only the device versions. All versions of the Xiaomi 18 Fold are equipped with Xring O3, but there's an important detail: the device variants are divided between 12 GB of RAM (which use LPDDR5X) and 16 GB of RAM (which utilizes the new LPDDR6 standard exclusively and more faster). With the LPDDR6 version, some users have achieved higher scores than those on the website. So in practice there are two variants of the same chip running, with LPDDR6 being the more powerful one.

In what? Actual user devices started coming and it turned out that this chip is barely beating the SD 8 Elite Gen 5 while having the same gen cores + 2 additional, producing so much more heat and thus consuming a lot more energy. The consumer device, no matter a phone or foldable is permanently throttled.

Why is everyone arguing that "A20 Pro is better" this is xiaomi's 2nd processor, do you guys know how long apple makes phone processors now? This processor is damn impressive for the 2nd attempt.

It isn't! Xiaomi is not building anything new. Just putting existing cores inside a chip. That's it. Apple has custom cores, custom architecture and all that sweetness. Both are simply not comparable in complexity. Give me enough money and I will make one given that I can buy the technology from Arm like what Xiaomi is doing essentially.

You do know this website posted these stats before the O3 was even out, right? It’s now in retail devices and the performance difference is staggering. A20 Pro wipes the floor with it.

For domestic market circulation only so yeah i dont think app/game developer will optimize Xring O3 lol.Snapdragon and Apple bionic are still the king on smartphone processor in my opinion Apple≈Snapdragon>MediaTek≈Exynos>Xring>Tensor

They optimize for Kirin, the best games, certainly they'll optimize for the New King Xring, be sure about that.

Flagship chip does don't need an optimization lol, it's only for mid range or budget one Roblox is actually caring about their players optimization tho but sometimes

Now I know that xiaomi will launch their process every year to dominate market, Will also be in market of laptops and force other mobile and laptop brands to over perform, Xring O3 is that overpowered that we couldn't even reach its processing limit

The Xring 03 is a generation behind the competition. Pretty much using previous gen micro architecture from TSMC, previous gen core architecture from AR for both CPU and GPU. The chip has 2 more cores than the direct Android competition while basically providing the same exact performance with all the affects from having 2 more cores - heat and power consumption. For these 2 more cores they consume more energy which means heavier thermals -> throttling -> less battery and the final result is the same performance. Sure, if you put it inside a laptop it will beat the 8 Elite Gen 5 but it is not inside a laptop but mobile devices.
