First it's look weak but then i realized it only peak at 2.5 and 7nm at that is actually powerful for its range,I must say Kirin is more successful than Exynos if only not limited by resources and technology they've had
I don't think they can use ARM v9 cores, as US sanctions are still in effect. Well, they might use some variants (saw A510 cores). RISC-V is the future for Huawei, I'm afraid.
Serhii, It seems that you updated the GPU here incorrectly.
Kirin 8020 GPU ->2CU -> 512ALU
Kirin 9020 GPU -> 4CU -> 1024ALU
Even though they're both Maleoon 920, the config is different.

Yeah but the Tensor G4 also has a slightly higher Antutu Score, and is manufactured in a Smaller 4 NM Process, While this is manufactured in 7 NM.

akp831, Yet if you test actual performance and power consumption, the Kirin 9020 is still better. That's what happens when one company employs tight hardware and software integration while the other one sticks with Samsung. Oh and AnTuTu is ass btw.

Like?, Well Intel stick with 10 nm for long time and did pretty good early until 13th and 14th generation.
Its like the same thing with Huawei. Hopefully they don't push it too far.
Performance is always behind until couple of years later. Competition is a huge win for the consumers. I would like more options. Sadly USA doesn't like competition.
Performance isn't really a big thing for me. I was actually still using Snapdragon 845 as a desktop PC replacement for like a year in 2022.
Serhii, I read the other day that it is not that simple. Those nm specs are more of a marketing thing and a vague indication of the sophistication of the process used, but not a specific nm value. So, one foundry's 5nm process might correspond to another foundry's 7nm process.
At the end of the day what matters is how fast the smartphone works. And there various factors play a role, the chip itself, but also the operating system, the memory specs, the degree of optimization, etc.

Nico, True but nowadays all foundries have the similar rules for what "nm" the process is, Intel was the only one which previously had major difference.
