Take into consideration this test uses DDR5 for the 1255, most setups come with DDR4 with that processor. So it turns out most of the difference is because of the RAM speed in this comparison. Sure you can upgrade but now your talking about even more money...food for thought.

I would choose the i7-1165G7 processor there is no big difference between them just pay more expensive why.

To be fair, the i7-1255U is 1.6X faster in geek bench multicore.

Paul, However, even if you possess DDR5 memory, when purchasing the 1255u, it usually comes equipped with DDR4 memory. So, theoretically, it is faster, but in the market, it is rarely sold with DDR5.
