Snapdragon is better than other mobile processors. The world's fastest processor is now the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. I love Snapdragon. My phone's processor is the Snapdragon 870. It's the best for gaming at this time. No hanging, no lagging. It's the best of the best.

Wow! MediaTek has truly outdone itself! It beats every other smartphone processor on the planet right now. Forget about claims such as "it's 4nm, it's going to produce more heat because it has more cores..." The reality is, this chip manages console-quality gaming at super high FPS with raytracing while remaining perfectly cool. This is what Android is capable of, something Apple can't even begin to match. Enjoy your overpriced smartphone that can't even reach the capabilities of a similarly priced Android. Thumbs up! Goodbye!

1. MediaTek processors are primarily used in budget phones across multiple brands, especially less popular ones. 2. Qualcomm processors are typically used in mid-range and premium phones across multiple brands. 3. Apple Silicon is exclusively used in iPhones.

Vanlal Muanpuia, Wow, you do know about Mediatek SoCs and Apple SoC, huh? Let me tell you something my friend. 1. You're right, Mediatek processors are used in budget phones, however, some of their top processors are one of the best in the industry, such as Dimensity 8200, 8300 and the top of the line SoC like Dimensity 9200, 9200+ and 9300 processors. In fact, some Dimensity 9300-powered phones outscore Snapdragon's top processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in some areas. And in this comparison between Dimensity 9300 and Apple A17 Pro, you can see (for yourself) that Dimensity 9300 clearly outscores Apple A17 Pro in almost every area. So, don't look down on Mediatek processor, especially the top of the line processors like Dimensity 9200+ and 9300. In fact, reports say that Dimensity 9300+ is coming out soon and it has Antutu score of around 2,300,000+, which is the highest Antutu score ever. 2. Qualcomm processors are used in mid-range and premium phones, you're right again, so are some of the Mediatek processors, like I mentioned above. Mediatek processors are less expensive than those of their Qualcomm counterparts. So, I hope OEMs will be using more and more of Mediatek processors in future because they are as good as, if not better than Qualcomm processors and they are cost effective, too. In the top mid-range processors, do you know that Dimensity 8300 has Antutu score of around 1,400,000, which is comparable to that of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, if not a bit less powerful but still comparable? 3. Yes, Apple processors are designed only for Apple phones and since Apple iOS is different from Android, it's hard to compare Apple phones with Android phones. And IPhones generally tend to have lower score on Antutu due to some issues, which I'm not familiar with, to be honest. Therefore, though top Apple processors like A17 Pro are very powerful and fast, their benchmark scores are relatively lower, especially on Antutu though the GPU of Apple A17 6 is comparable to Adreno 750 of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Mali G720 Immortalis MP12 of Dimensity 9300, though Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 have a bitter better and faster GPUs than that of Apple A17 Pro

It's not the chip issue. It's the optimization of android. iOs is very optimized on their SOCs that is why every bit of the performance of their CPU is utilized that is why it's hotter than most other phones out there. Maybe they can improve their thermal dissipation thing in the future. Same as with android. If android improved their optimization it will be as good as iOs.

The Dimensity 9300 is slightly superior to the A17 Pro, but the A17 Pro proves to be more efficient than the Dimensity. You can even play PS5 games like the Resident Evil 4 remake on an iPhone. Also, the A17 Pro has a 3nm processor, while the Dimensity utilizes a 4nm processor.

Simply put, if the D9300 were on n3 (which isn't an actual node but merely a marketing ploy for improvement), it would outperform the A17 Pro. Apple's only advantage is that they have purchased the entire n3 stock from TSMC's warehouse.

In reality, the 9300 is perfectly capable of playing games at the PS5 level. The issue lies in the fact that developers are hesitant to develop for Android. Despite its wide varietyโ€”1000x more than Appleโ€”it doesn't appeal to developers due to the lower usage of "top-of-the-line" phones. Most people tend to use mid-range models.

Although MediaTek's dimensity 9300 does outperform Apple's A17 bionic in some comparisons some of which are by more than double, I still would prefer the A17 bionic since Apple is the more reputable company and is better established with greater longevity. Also, Apple makes its own OS(IOS) and has a long history of being more stable and secure than the Android OS which the dimensity 9300 runs on. And if that wasn't enough, Apple has longer and more frequent OS updates than Android thus is why iPhones are more future-proof.

Another criticism: your AppStore is a million times weaker than the Play Store. Never compare them, okay? The PlayStore has millions more free apps. With such a limited iOS, you can't even edit home screens, can't even add a home picture wallpaper. It's so restrictive, much like a dictatorship. The phone takes two long hours to charge, compared to 30 minutes elsewhere. Further, the iPhone's battery health remains at 80% after 500 charges, whereas the latest Dimensity Snapdragon generation phones give you an average of 1200 charges until it goes down to 80%. The iPhone is for those who have no idea about specifications or are just okay with having limited access. The iPhone is for people like you.

Eric yung, After using my S22 Ultra on Android for more than a year, I've noticed a significant decline in performance after three years. Now, it lags more often and it's pretty useless for gaming. Surprisingly, my older XS Max is much better, even though it's an older model.

Who cares about stability when iOS is completely locked, whereas on Android, I could even install Manjaro or Arch if I wanted to? Also, iOS collects a lot of data from you, Android does the same, lots of data collection, but you can install a custom ROM and escape from data collection. You seem to prefer the A17 Pro because it runs on iOS, which is honestly not a valid answer. This is about comparing processors, not the platforms they run on. Some people's reasoning can indeed be frustrating.

Eric yung, You may not be aware, but a processor doesn't have anything to do with the formation of lithium crystals on the electrolyte. Indeed, iPhones charge slowly but last longer. On the other hand, a Xiaomi battery replacement costs only 10 euros, charges quickly, and lasts only 3 hours less. With a Xiaomi, I can top up the charge from 40% in about 10 minutes โ€” I can just brush my teeth while it charges. Conversely, iPhones charge so slowly that itโ€™s a hassle when you're on the move. Not to mention that the battery replacement costs a whopping 200 euros, just for a battery! Seriously, Apple?

Xoom, Why even mention that gaming is for virgins? Regarding the decline in performance, simply perform a factory reset to bring your phone back to speed. If that doesn't work, perhaps it's time to root the phone to diagnose the problem.

MediaTek has a successful combination of CPU architecture 4*X4 + 4*A720, with no power efficiency core (the middle cores A720 becomes it), which hugely improves its multiple core performance at the same level as A17 Pro.

The technology and work from MediaTek are precisely incredible. They're slightly behind the iPhone in some aspects, but they surpass Bionic in others! The competition between this year's and last year's versions and Bionic has been incredibly close. I'm thinking that next year's Android System on Chip will take the lead.

Previously, MediaTek was dismissed based on our comments about their perceived weaknesses. However, we now see their strength. Although they were only supposed to manufacture mid-range chipsets, they've stood out because no other chipset maker produces both affordable and high-end flagship level products. Hence, MediaTek began crafting powerful phones to compete with Snapdragon, whose chipsets are notoriously overpriced.

MediaTek implemented a similar strategy back in the day when both the 888 and 8g1 were overheating. Their response was the creation of Dimensity with its d8100 and d9000 models. The d8100 outperformed the d9000 and 8g1 in power-to-performance ratio, making it a more cost-efficient alternative. As a result, the 8g1, despite its lower price, was quickly forgotten.
