Truth is... The G80 performs way better than the SD 662 when it comes to stability. Yes, the S662 has a lot to offer but, it doesn't make full use of those. Compare your SD 662 device to an Helio G80 device in playing games like NewState: Mobile and PUBGM and you'll see the difference in thermals and performance. Yes, the SD662 might overtake in in-app opening speed but, as you go on, the Helio G80 will show its prowess through steady thermals and well-sustained performance throughout your session. Take it from me. I've played using both devices before.

if SD 662 has lags or sucks in gaming or scroll5is not smooth is because of very very bad MIUI optimization. Anyway, I think Snapdragon is more reliable for this comparison.

I have both Chipset Helio G80 (Samsung A32 4G) and Snapdragon 662 (Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 LTE). I'm using it for lite usage. Seems like Helio G80 was way smoother than Snapdragon 662. Snapdragon loads faster than Helio G80 (better CPU performance). However, at some point, the transition seems stuck, despite the smaller build (11 nm). Yeah, both have their own pro & cons. But, personally, Helio G80 seems to satisfy me from my experience: in terms of smooth scrolling, loading time, and responsiveness.

Samsung A32 has much more ram, that's why it's smoother. Snapdragon 662 is better.

Do they have the same RAM? The phone has 4, 6, or 8 GB while the tablet has 3 or 4.

No bro, sd 662 is better in both gaming and normal usage, the matter is that poco m3 is fhd+ display device and reame 6i is hd+ display device so g80 doesn't have to process alot in gaming, it would have been better if they had compared POCO M3 and POCO M2...

Despite having Higher Speed than Adreno610.. The More GFlops the more Optimized the Games is.. Also Flops also Helps to Gpu to Reduce the Heatings.. See to most of Mediatek Processors and the G85 was like 1GHz of Gpu but only 64Gflops, over time the less Computation power of Mali Gpu cost Heating, Battery Life Reductuon and Short Phone Lifespan.. The Mediatek doesn't need High Speed Cpu/Gpu,the High is the Frequency the Quicker it will Throttle.. The More Flops the Optimized the Game. Look to Playstation Gpus..they aren't as fast but they Playstation Gpu are more Depending on Gflops.. Note that Playstation 1 Gpu had over 300Mhz but had over 400-500 GFlops capabilities.. This why Snapdragon Adrenos Come to Top end Gaming Budget

My Redmi 9T is SD662 and it sucks with handling recent apps. It force closes my apps without my permission despite disabling battery optimization. No lock for recent apps and it sucks. Everything about it is cool though.

its not the CPU fault. MIUI now is shit in RAM Management. If you has magisk root installed on your phone, then you can flash RAM management fix module through Magisk app. link for RAM management fix : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/ram-manager-for-magisk.3816986/

Man I had the same issue with my Poco M3. Let me help you find again the option to lock apps in memory (once it's not visible anymore in recents menu). It. Makes phone keep apps opened. Go to the app called SECURITY, then, to the options (gear icon), then to the option Boost Speed, the find the option Lock apps.

Both the processors are good and average at clock speed .... but because of fabrication of sd 662 at 11 nm it has slightly more scores in multi core.. But if you are a gaming beast you should take g80 as it as better and fast opening then sd 662... Thank you...

In terms of performance g80 is much faster than sd662, but phone optimization will affect chipset performance like what happened in poco m3.

662 is also great as well. What happened in Poco M3 is the OS. MIUI unstable. Software bugs, not hardware. There's a oppo device and realme 7i that use sd 662 and works well. No issue in performance at all.

Helio G80 pros: Newer ARM cores(2 A75 & 6 A55 cores) SD 662 pros: Better 4G connectivity (LTE cat13), WiFi 6 support, bluetooth 5.1 G80 offers better CPU performance (app opening time, overall user experience is comparitively faster) while sd662 offers better network connectivity (both cellular and WiFi).
