The 7 Plus Gen 3 performs better than the 8400 in general usage. We tested both extensively on the Realme GT 6T and 7T. The 6T has the exact same launch and task execution speeds, but it heats up less and the battery lasts longer than the 7T, which even has a larger amperage. In games, the differences are barely noticeable, and even in this context, the 6T heats up much less.

I got both 6t and 7t although in current scenario with updates and stuff . 7t handling games like genshin and wuwa 5-10% better with cooled environment both heat at same level with latest realme ui7 . Infact 6t started showing age throttling much faster than 7t .

8400 ultra is good and could match up with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 so 8400 is obviously better

7 elite it's 8 gen 3 renamed so there's nothing to look forward to! 7 elite = 8 gen 3, 9400e = 9300 ...

All the big cores Without the efficiency cores how will this effect the battery life? Bcoz lower clocks?

Hey guys what do you think is 8400 really a worth because single core scores which matter the most during gaming is very low for a midrange device considering 2025

Ashwin, Yah you are right single core matter in gaming which better on 7 plus gen3.

Ashwin, That's the point. Cortex X4 is much more powerful than A725 in terms of raw power. In geekbench it really shows it. In gaming the prime core performance matters the most.

Ashwin, What a massive cope thread from obvious sub 60 IQ Qualcomm fanboys. "because single core scores which matter the most during gaming" omfg, how clueless are you really? Like 5% of apps are single threaded โ€” that a 3.25ghz A725 can already carry. Stop reading spec sheets and figure out how things actually works for once. 'oh let's praise this 1 XL core and ignore the competitor's 7 superior ones" Embarrassing representation from a certain region.

SkyFX, bcuz you're living on benchmark without read the architecture of the ARM Cortex itself, brainless.
