Dimensity920 and Snapdragon 778G They are almost equal but slightly Dimensity920It is better because it has better heat management and also has a more stable operation and compared to Snapdragon 778G It is better in playing because Snapdragon 778G In performance is weaker than Dimensity920.

@Magician: You should go for IQOO Z5, I'm using it, it's buttery smooth & device is quite cool even after heavy usage. The battery backup is too good. In-camera, Night mode under extremely dark conditions is surprising, it's Samsung GW3 sensor captures better than we see with our naked eyes. My preference is for PUBG/BGMI. Funtouch OS is not that good to be liked, I'm using ASUS ZenUI on my phone that's much better.

Ofc Xiaomi 11i is better. Xiaomi phones have a special relation with MediaTek processors. Tho 778g is better in overall stats than dim 920, but it also depends on the phone's make and builds. Iqoo is not as good as MI phones. Hyperthreading works best in Xiaomi. MI has more durability. And if u have used an MI phone before, then u must be knowing about how good it is in performance and optimization. The fact that mi 10 ultra defeated iphone 12 pro max : )

Tech lover, Well in the case of make and Samsung clearly cuts off every android smartphone and also has the best android skin. If it is MI vs IQOO then there is no quality comparison both are Chinese. If it was Samsung vs MI, then there was a question of better quality.

Quality Geek, There are few ways in which mi beats Samsung: 1. It provides better hardware at cheap pricing 2. it provides better choices 3. Lastly the best thing about Xiaomi is better Custom rom Support and any custom rom easily beats Samsung in terms of performance as well as safety of the user

Random Guy, Xiaomi is what I suggest for custom ROMs because you don't have to worry about the useless Knox that is permanently tripped on Samsungs & devalues the phone, they don't lock you down from downgrading your firmware as Samsung does, once the bootloader is unlocked Samsung phones becomes buggy or some functions don't work, etc., etc.

qualcomm just improved by switching clusters from 2+6 to 1+3+4 clusters(from sd 768g to sd 778g) while mediatek downgraded from 4+4 to 2+6 cluster (from dimensity 820 to dimensity 920). In my opinion, the best clusters are 4+4 clusters to improve the multicore score. Examples of this are dimensity 8100 and 8000 For better single-core scores, 1+3+4 clusters are the best recommendation.

GT ME is only slightly better SOC than 9 Pro+, people need to consider battery power and camera sensors.. 9 Pro+ camera sensors are Sony IMX766 widely considered to be as good as a flagship camera ( at least in Indonesia, several YouTubers here making content comparisons between 9 Pro+ camera vs iPhone 13 Pro and S22 camera!)

MediaTek custom ROMs are definitely slowly growing as they are starting to get more famous & more users. It's actually up to devs whether they make one or if the chipset has many users to make it worthwhile for development.

anonymous, IN my country A52s is cheaper than the Mi11 lite one and realme GT by a lot.. BTW I don't care for 2-4% lower benchmarks because ONE UI is way more optimized and it's faster than that phone in real-life use. Plus 3 years of android updates plus OIS, a much better ultra-wide camera, and IP67. Mi11 lite and realme GT have nothing.. What are you talking about?

Sonic, in my country, the a52s were about $200 more than the other phones. I guess it depends on the country but IMO one UI is overrated and has the same bloatware and ads. Plus my friend has an a52s and it gets hot way too fast during heating even with all the recent Android 12 updates. It also drops phone and wifi signals randomly.

Sonic, Yeah, it's future proof too as Samsung offers 4 years of Security updates. But do you realize that your Phone charges slowly as opposed to 11 shites 5G NE and GT Mastrash Edition? Also that It heats like a Microwave oven vs the previous two? Realme kills it off, as we have the 9 5G SE which isn't a microwave oven!

anonymous, Bruh, why are you comparing a local phone with an international phone? A52s is meant for the local market while you can only buy Mi 11 lite ne 5G on Aliexpress or Amazon (unless you live in India I guess). And also, Mi 11 lite ne 5G doesn't have IP67 water resistance which is a huge added bonus. And don't tell me it's something you don't need, because then you would be lying to yourself (you will thank IP67 if you ever drop your phone into a pool).

the cost difference is more than performance difference. so 920 is worth it. the second point is 778 tends to heat a lot and then thermal throttling takes place. it's a personal experience. (mi 11 lite NE 5G)

I have a Mi 11 Lite 5G with a Snapdragon 780G processor, I have done Geekbench 5 benchmark several times so I would like to share the results. The single core is around 750-780, while the Multi core is around 2115-2460. I just want to say that you don't need to believe these statistics. So I think the Dimensity 920, SD 778G and 780G are almost corrosive. But if we consider the price of the 778g phone, I think the Dimensity 920 is a better buy. Because in real word performance we can't see the difference.
