i think google make good chip, if you look their number all is multiple by 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64. that is stable number for chip. i don't want my cpu easy overheat from calculation. what i want is stable chip and security. i think google is make for work and security. not for run too much application or play game. well that just my opinion.

The problem is not tensor G4, the problem is the price of pixel 9 series right now. They make their own chip pixel 9 should have been around 400-450$ to be reasonable device for the performance, cameras and display it offers, while 9 pro 600-650, it would sell like hot cakes

Google has to stop making these chips; they are too weak compared to other chips.

If only Google would have stayed with Qualcomm and powered their Pixel 9 pro LX with snapdragon 8 Elite instead of the mediocre Tensor G4, Google would have had the finest android phone on the market and would have been a perfect match for Apple's iPhone 16 pro max and enhanced the Android vs iOS competition.

Would have liked Mediatek Dimensity 8400 on new Pixel 9 series... Would have liked that very much.

What is Google even doing? The 8 Gen 2 was 40% faster than the Tensor G2, but now the 8 Gen 4 is 100% faster than the G4... Seriously?

Since Google's Tensor G4 cannot even match Qualcomm's snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in performance, it's a no brainier that Tensor G4 is no near as good as 8 Gen 4 which is why Google should have never ditched Qualcomm in 2021 for the much inferior Tensor SoC.
