Please get your mind out of day dreams 865 including 888 are totally obsolete currently 8 gen2 is the only processor which can handle everything and won't cry due to overheating, people won't need anything faster that gen2 right now , 8 gen 3 , Elite and Elite 2 will be overkill unless you plan to emulate PS and switch on android

Dude.. you are the one daydreaming here.. 865 isn't obsolete the settings available to 865 and 8+gen1 are the ssame in heavy games.. They perform identical fps in heavy games. And also the sd865 is the golden chipset of the sd since it down overheat and is very efficient. The custom kernel 865 can outperform the 8+gen1. Since you can squeeze more power to it because of very high efficiency.. the 888 is the one that cant keep up since it was a samsung fab and not a tsmc fab it prones to overheating issue not the sd865..

Yeah very far ahead it can head to head to 8+gen1 even in stock kernel and custom kernel can beat the 8+gen1 in performance since its very efficient chipset you can overclock it and under volt to squeeze lots of power and perform cooler than stock 8+gen1..
