Root, Hi Thanks for your answer. Yeah I found Dell Inspiron 15 (5515) AMD Ryzen 7 5700U 16GB RAM 512GB SSD So that is the reason I wanted to ask for advice because I was concerned about the AMD Ryzen 7 5700U CPU and whether it can handle those tools. I am sure this laptop should be fine for the requirements I mentioned earlier Thank you

I love the Ryzen 7... I use it for music production and my workstation has an option for "plugin load balancing". Basically, it distributes the load evenly over all cores. The Ryzen destroys my old i7 as well. I'm an AMD user for life now ✌

You guys should know that single core measures gaming performance. There are comparisons on youtube where intel i5 11th gen received higher fps at least 10 while just being a 4 core.

it will only do it only in some games and in some even intel will lose against ryzen. What is the point if you lose some 5% in a single thread or gaming if ryzen as a whole will give you more ten 50% gain?

Rob, More than 50% gain is a false assumption in 90% of the cases. Even if you multitask, 4 cores are already more than enough. 8 cores are just overkill unless you are using 10+ apps together at the same moment. Even the most demanding games don't require more than 4 cores. So the extra 4 cores will rarely come in handy. So overall i5 will still be better in 90% of normal and gaming cases.
