What’s very strange is the fact that the dimensity 1100 and 8020 are pretty much the exact same chip with maybe a few tweaks yet the 8020 is regarded as a mid-range chip, the 8020 still has more than enough power for day-to-day average users, perhaps being considered as a premium chipset is more appropriate.

I've checked it and they're almost exactly the same, but why does Antutu show the 1100 as a tad bit faster than the 8020? Yet, it loses by 1-10% in every other category. That doesn't make sense.

Just a dude, You could say D 8020 is just rebranded D 1100. D 1100 is just more stable while D 8020 is overclock causing thermal issues, hence slightly worse than D 1100.
