8.5 watts of power consumption is quite high for a phone processor, especially when it is constantly running at high performance. 8.5W is close to the borderline of a tablet. However, keep in mind that this consumption is usually the maximum under full load (benchmarking, gaming, video processing, etc.) and that in everyday use the processor usually consumes much less power.

How can the Dimensity 9300 gaming be better than the Dimensity 9400?
