Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is better than Dimensity 9400 if you're focused on long-term use. Snapdragon is likely to be more worth it in the long run. For the most part, Dimensity 9 series chips... don't even last 3 years.

Dimensity 9400 is a much better and faster processor than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, period and anyone who thinks otherwise it's either a fool or a foolish fan of Snapdragon chipset who thinks snapdragon processors are always better than Mediatek SoC. The CPU and GPU are must better and much faster than SD 8 Gen 3 CPU and GPU. And how exactly did you know that Dimensity 9000 series don't last for 3 years or more? You're just a fanatical, obsessed, pissed off fan of Snapdragon processors and hater of Dimensity 9000 series and nobody will take you seriously, really.

PeeCee, I’m just stating the facts. Your comment? Completely nonsense. Question: β€œHow do you even know the Dimensity 9000 series can’t last for 3 years?” Let me give you a simple example β€” is the Dimensity 9200+ still powerful and fast right now? If it really is, then why the hell does its performance drop when it heats up? That’s the opposite of Snapdragon, which handles heat better. Question: β€œYou’re just a delusional Snapdragon fanboy who hates Dimensity 9000 for no reason, and no one takes you seriously.” Well, isn’t that you? Why the hell are you taking me so seriously then? And if you really believe that the Dimensity 9400 is better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, then why the hell do most smartphone companies around the world choose Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 over Dimensity? Think about it β€” and stop saying dumb sh*t like this again.

PPP, Relax bois , we are just consumers, more competition is good for us . It's snapdragon or dimensity, Snapdragon improving itself because of dimensity and Dimensity improving itself because of snapdragon . They compete with each other and keep improving themselves . It's good for consumers .

PPP, 8 Elite > 9400 > 8 Gen 3. If you're talking about the 9200+ slowing down, have you tried playing it in Wuthering Waves? As far as I see, it's leagues better than the 8+ Gen 1 but a bit behind the 8 Gen 2.

Gas, That's not really a reasonable question, is it? Wuthering Waves is a very demanding game, and besides, the 9200+ drops a lot of FPS after playing for a while.

PPP, what do you mean by performance drops when temperature increases? every chip has throttling when overheated. 9200+ can heat up faster than 8 gen2 which makes it not maintain high performance for long but up to 9300+ is a different story. i always want high performance but moderate temperature so i can hold it not a real fire dragon and can't hold it.

Tts, Question: What do you mean by performance drops when the temperature increases? Answer: Simply put, if the CPU doesn’t get too hot, performance will remain normal. Question: But every chip already throttles when it overheats, right? Answer: Not exactly to that extent. If you want a good chip, go for Snapdragon. If you want a power-efficient chip, go for the Chinese brands (you know which ones).

SD 8 gen 3 is almost comparable to D 9400 in terms of CPU performance but lags behind in terms of GPU. But in some scenario, surprisingly 8 gen 3 sometimes outperforms D9400 in video rendering. Also some apps were optimized for 8 gen 3 rather than D9400.

It's just because 8 Gen 3 is 1 year older, and the games are already optimized. Dimensity 9400 is 1 year newer, and it needs time to be optimized.
