Please guys stop complaining about which is better . At the end the both chips will run the same games with almost the same FPS and the same graphics. (Sadly android very poor when it comes to PC ported games)

Mediatek currently is as optimised as qualcomm chipset. People just hate anything which isn't snapdragon because MTK has a bad legacy of being inferior in terms of performance. Things have changed. If you want to do some heavy gaming just get a cool shark controller on some cooler because both chips will heat if you pull their legs

I have both SOC Iqoo neo 10 (8Gen3) and Iqoo Z9 Turbo+ (9300+). I regret buying the Z9Turbo+ which push me to buy the Neo 10. my 1st time using Dimensity and it will be last. every single devices that house 9300+ couldn't play Warzone Mobile. other games not stable on it. Fontnight looks like a game from 2008. nothing on paper will push me to dimensity

Unique, I don't own z9 turbo+. I bought realme neo 7 (9300+) and it runs all games at very stable fps. Codm to fortnite to dmc and a lot of games. I never experienced what you're talking about. OS optimisation counts.

Unique, Had the same experience but with the Dimensity 8400. I was impressed with its performance on paper but when I decided to get the X7 Pro, it was a huge disappointment; it can't even handle some Roblox games. I compared it with my experience with the 8s Gen 3 and they had a significant difference in performance.

Rom, What version of Poco X7 pro did you purchase?.. 8gb ram or 12gb ram variant?.. cuz with 12gb ram paired with 256gb storage, you get ultra fast UFS 4.0 speeds but with 8gb/128, you get ufs 3.1 speeds which isn't as fast.

F7 Pro If you want to do pc and switch emulation. 14t Pro works perfect for all games and can run most emulators like ps2, gamecube, ppsspp and the others. Running winlator and switch games on dimensity rn is bad because there's no driver support

People nowadays don't understand that MediaTek is ahead of 8 Gen 3. I tested both devices, and I've seen that MediaTek runs more smoothly and generates less heat, while 8 Gen 3 produces more heat and throttles a lot. Also, I tested emulation on AetherSX2, and to my surprise, 9300 is far superior on 8 Gen 3 in terms of performance and thermals on AetherSX2. The 9300 can run NFS Most Wanted at 5x resolution, while the 8 Gen 3 only runs 4x with a terrible temperature. I'm a Snapdragon fanboy, but I have to be honest at this point. Also, sorry for my English; I'm not good.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is better than Dimensity 9300 Plus. Why? 1. If you want real power and stability, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is the better choice. 2. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 lasts longer. Most Dimensity chips (emphasis on most) don’t last up to 5 years in terms of performance, except for the Oppo Reno 3 5G. 3. Even though it runs hotter than Dimensity, it’s worth it in the long run.

I seriously hope this is a joke. The battle of the 2023 flagships have ended with the original 9300 (not the over-clocked "+" version) slightly edging out the 8 Gen 3. Both chipsets are good, let's get that straight, but let's not forget the 9300 has 4 Cortex X4s and 4 Cortex a720s (yes, no a5xx core whatsoever) which, for it's time, was quite impressive

Dimensity lineup breaks the stigma that MTK SoCs in general sucks... (Like it was long years ago) Tested 8Gen3 vs 9300+ (Redmi K70 ultra)... yes, the latter heats up due to higher CPU + GPU clocks speed, but guess what? Even at 43Β°C (internal temp), about 37Β°C to ~41Β°C (surface) , never experience a drop or a lag in real world gaming at 144Hz, yes CodM running at 144hz Ultra graphics without hiccups. from 44Β°C the liquid cooling tech kicks in to drop it down to 1 or 2Β°C less dpending on scenario. average 42Β°C. This is not to hype up anybody... no. it's just stating an experience. It's mind blowing. A bit surprising to be honest. Underdog rising. The competition throttles down to compensate heat, thus crippling poweruser's gaming. which is not ok. (imo) 9300+ is just amazing. 8Gen 3 is actually good too, unless you game a lot.

Which is your priority? Which SoC are you leaning towards? K70 Ultra, if you're not into Custom roms and emulators... Too many deciding factors.. I chose k70, for the metal build and perf ormance... it heats up in long game sessions like 10+ games of CodM BR, Never lags or throttles @43Β°C not even overheating... very beastly! Dimensity 9300+

It the raw computing performance of the MP12 is 50% higher based on the Floating point operations per second, FLOP . However like many times we have seen with AMD, regardless your HW is capable of double the raw computing power compare to another, there are other sides of the story.... but like in many AMD GPUs at the past, with maturing drivers, that hidden potential came on the surface

all people think forgot about one important thing, the price because at this point dimensity 9300+ is only far behind only a few steps compared to 8 gen 3 but the price difference is big. im actually a snapdragon fan because of well optimized their chipsets are but I'll have to vote for 9300+ because in actual performance and compare it to 8 gen 3... there's not much of a difference now but the price difference is big

hhh, bro i have both redmi k60 and redmi turbo 3 the turbo 3 feels damn off i feel like turbo phones are not well optimized even tho the thing have better chip it feels worse everything feels slugish the k series are better optimized what you think ? am not extreamly good with phones but maybe am doing somthing wrong because the phone dose not feel like it should at all

Are 4 small (efficiency) cores and 4 big or 3 big cores and 1 big prime core not enough nowadays? All big core design seemed worked out for this MediaTek chip performance wise, this is probably by design so good for them but throwing away efficiency cores sounds like a big no no to me and Snapdragon did it differently their own way too. I find it really odd. Can someone explain?

These are flagship SoCs, they're built to deliver performance not efficiency. If that's a "BiG nO nO" for you then stick to midrange SoCs like the D-8300 Ultra, SD 7+ Gen 3, etc..

Actually I checked out a battery drain test video by technick on youtube. I saw that battery life wise 9300 (not plus version in the video) holds up pretty well when done right by smartphone manufacturer but ran hotter overall (not alarming level when considering in normal daily usage, not continuous stress test) when compared to S24 Ultra which has 8 Gen 3 and iPhone 15 Pro Max which has A17 Pro. So it's not a bad decision for Mediatek to do all big core design but I still don't understand why they don't just 1 big prime core, 3 big cores and 4 small cores design now. Maybe I'm just dumb.

- Good luck with severe thermal throttling after an hour of gaming, proven by the very low stability during the 3DMark Wild Life benchmarks. - Good luck with basically 0 support for custom roms. - Good luck with basically 0 support for emulation because of the drivers, so you'll simply have to stick with whatever you can find on the Play Store and a few PS2 titles here and there. - Good luck with the resale value of anything that doesn't have a Snapdragon (Applies to Exynos just as much as MTK). Lmao indeed.

Yeah, -Emulation and Optimization wise, Dimensity sucks balls, true. However with manufacturers promising to release updates/pathces for 3 to 4 years for flagship devices (to survive today's Competetive market) ... its only a matter of time before SD looses this disgustingly monipolistic advantage. - custom roms are dead and hold zero significance when youre buying flagships (that most DM9300 plus based devices will be.) -if youre thinking about resale values, stfu and get an Apple...(only to sell it off and get a cheaper second hand Android falgsip form last year i suppose.) No one is laughing their asses off, and certianly not yourself. I own an Honor magic 6 pro with the SD8G3. I can say confidently that the DM9300+ is a far superior in its design, delivery and balance compared to the snobbish, blue blooded SD8G3.

Yeah, 2024 is already here, stop brainwashing ppl. Whoever said it was thermal throttle after an hour of gaming, have you tested it yourself? The fact that there are four big cores means that you can adjust the medium to high graphic settings of big games and run smoothly without any fan. Is there a SoC that doesn't heat up quickly if you use the full capabilities of the CPU and GPU? Everyone doesn't use a custom ROM to play games on the smartphone they buy, but even though there are so many good games for Android, everyone doesn't play old games on emulators. Next, if you want a good resale value, buy an iPhone with longer software support,am I right?

Which device did u test. I have both Iqoo Neo 10 (8Gen3) and Z9 Turbo+ (9300+) & your statement is false. check youtube 9300+ on all devices couldn't run Warzone mobile well, High energy Hero and Fontnights. I thought is my phone's fault but when I check youtube. same error on Samsung Tab, Realme Neo 7 and 1 Xiaome phone. ops.

respect where respect is due, Dimensity is about to go for the jugular with it's upcoming chipset, look at how apple's SoC is dethroned.. Snapdragon has it coming too if they dont up thier game and continue to play around with monopoly instead. on a level field, DM9300+ is far superior to the Sdgen3, and thaat bothers me very much since i use an SDgen3 device.

King Miracle., That was in the past bro.. We are in the future and Dimensity is finger fuckin Qualcomm in the ass right now. πŸ˜… Dimensity is not like Mediatek Helio G-series that was first released in 2019.. Mediatek means business right now and Qualcomm is pissing their pants right now

Niguwhat, Honestly I'm worried too.. like wtf.. How did Mediatek improve so fast?. from 2019 to 2021-2024 with the release of Dimensity series.. That's when I knew Mediatek was up to something crazy.. Look how fast their chips are right now

I think MediaTek should have upgraded the GPU of Dimensity 9300+ by one core, i.e., Mali G720 Immortalis MP13, which should outscore Adreno 750 of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Anyway, I hope Dimensity 9400 will be as follows: 2 x Cortex X975 at 3.65 GHz + 3 x Cortex A725 at 3.35 GHz + 3 x Cortex A520 (2024) at 2.35 GHz plus Mali Immortalis G925 MC16, which would be an absolute beast. Likewise, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 should be: 1 x Oryon core at 3.75 GHz + 2 x Oryon core at 3.35 GHz + 2 x Cortex A725 at 3.0 GHz + 3 x Cortex A520 (2024) at 2.4 GHz plus Adreno 845 (875 MHz).

Oryon core is owned by Qualcomm, I doubt Qualcomm will sell license to Mediatek.

You don't just improve an SOC by throwing in more cores.. remember back in 2015 when Mediatek tried this with 10 core CPU architecture of Helio X20 and failed miserably.. Be patient and let Mediatek cook with their next release

Apparently, a GPU's raw power isn't measured by the number of cores, but I don't see why that's the case.

It's not on the core count; it is based on how many shaders/shading units an ARM-based GPU has, how high or low the clock speed is, and how well the GPU performs. This is calculated using TFLOPS.
