I don't if u have seen the update but like 3 months ago I got ultra extreme update on same phone (maybe Little different bc it says limited edition but I still think it's same) and since that I have 120fps and I even tested it with fps meter and it stays stable 120fps

Except slight battery life, sd 7 gen 3 is an inferior chip compared to a 3 YEAR OLD flagship 8 series processor. And the fact that phones like GT2 had great heat management and sustained performance with this chipset shows that it got a bad rep cuz some OEMs failed to add the required heat management. And Nord ce4 belongs to that family which has been in news for the past 5 years for all the bad reasons, most recent ones being the fiasco of 9 and 10 series soc dead. Not to mention all the chips used in oneplus give poor antutu score compared to same chips in IQOO( not comparing the UI experience but then OnePlus has also joined the club of adding bloatwares ). So this 7 gen3 performs more like a 7 gen 1 in Nord ce4 anyways.

The Gen 7 is the better processor because it doesn't give up away in power (it is actually superior in aspects that are more valuable than others where it's inferior but have no practical use anyway), it is more efficient and heats a lot less.

It's so sad that the Nord CE4 is the only phone with UFS 4.0 (currently).

The 7 Gen 3 is an intermediate processor that delivers top-of-the-line performance comparable to a few years ago, but with updated features. It is clearly superior in many respects. It also benefits from being made with technology from TSMC, not Samsung.

I had a phone with the 888 chipset, and it's essentially an induction heater in the form of an SoC (System on a Chip).

The snapdragon 7 Gen 3 can compete against such amazing processors and the fact that it comes in budget-friendly mobiles is even more astonishing. So I would gladly call it the winner.

I'd say this is a fair comparison. The 7 gen 3 is available in the Nord CE 4. It's nice to be able to get AI features at a mid-range price.
