The same cores the same clock speeds the same gpu There's literally no diff The exyons 2500 in s25 fe is far better

In theory, adding one middle core to replace one small core should be a decent jump. In practice most applications don't really benefit from that. What I'm more surprised of is how they managed to gain some GPU performance boost even though the specs seem to be worse.

Not sure but base on Samsung semiconductor website the improvement on Xclipse 550 is on its architecture with 2WGP³+2RB⁴ (plus 2 render backend compared to Xclipse 540), maybe there's also some optimization on SLC, but one thing for sure LPDDR5X also helped with the performance upgrade of the GPU in short 1680 is just refined version of 1580

Samsung be like: We did a big jump with the 1480 to the 1580. Now it's too powerful. We've got everyone thinking this will be a big upgrade too. Let's do what we always do, small improvements.

I called it. And this is one of the reasons why the Galaxy A37 isn't getting the Exynos 1580 hand-me-down. The Galaxy A57 is less desirable if the Galaxy A37 is almost as powerful.

Single core is up 2%, multi-core 14% β€” not a huge difference overall.

the difference is non existent, if you are talking about the antutu score, then acknowledge that this site is comparing the antutu 10 score of the 1580 to the antutu 11 score of 1680 wich is non sense, the 1680 is almost the same as the 1580 in terms of design and has a negligible performance uplift.

so they did not use the latest available core designs from arm or even the ones before that, no C1 Pro/C1 nano cores and no A725/A525 cores just the old cores from the previous 1580 which explains the mediocre performance improvements on the CPU side, on the GPU side they also did not use the latest RDNA 4 or even RDNA 3.5 and just decided to downclock the same GPU on the Exynos 1580 and call it a day. The Exynos 1680 is an absolute disgrace for an enthusiast and absolutely makes the A57 even more of a bad deal, that phone is not justified especially when the S24 FE (the significantly superior phone in everyway) is at the same price or cheaper. Samsung disappoints again with their upper-midrange processors.

A absolute sh*t, in Antutu v11 E1580 got 1.2M score and the E1680 got 1.3M .

E1680 battery score 86 whether 89f for E1580. What's wrong with admin? In real life Exynos 2500,2600 is more efficient than tensor G5 but u give 91 score to G5 for it's shit efficiency and as usual 86/89 for Exynos whether it's more efficient. I wish u'll update new Exynos 1680's battery score to 90

At this point, just give up on Nanoreview's rating. Imagine Dimensity 9500s being Number one on the list of Smartphone processors. What a joke

Exynos 1680 uses Bluetooth 6.1, not 6.0; you might want to fix that
