If it comes to performance and gaming then 7 gen 3 kills Exynos.

Not really, no. It may be slightly faster in gaming, but overall performance is better on Exynos - they're really good nowadays (especially mid-range SoCs).

It all comes down to optimization, if exynos 1580 get the same level of optimizations ,it will dominate the 7 Gen 3

no u shouldn't compare old soc with the new ones, for 7 gen 3 u can compare with exynos 1480 that'd be fair. and common issue with chip exynos is that has a bad at find signal isp

Moni Chandra Rai, @Moni wrong. Even with UFS 3.1(Honor 200), the 7 gen 3 scores lower than Exynos 1580. And the GPU raw power is also better in 1580 than 7 gen 3. It's just that Samsung's Exynos GPU driver is very bad with zero optimization and most games aren't optimized for Exynos.

Moni Chandra Rai, Exynos instruction set is better, which means it is more efficient, honor 400 uses 7 gen3 will ufs 3.1 and still lack behind the exynos 1580 in performance

Moni Chandra Rai, Just scream that you're a SD fanboy or an Exynos hater at this point, there is no way that with the newer and higher clocked CPU cores the SD 7 Gen 3 scores higher with UFS 3.1 (or even UFS 4.1) than the Exynoa 1580, that doesn't make any sense
