Playing NTE in May 6, 2026 at extreme with 30fps steady on my Poco f3. It only stutters when there's lag from my area. I can't buy this crap about the sd7+ gen 3 because my daily experience doesn't allow for a chip with a slower clock score to over power it

7 plus gen3 is cool chipset and overall gaming experience is top notch no heating this is my experience with realme GT 6T.

These new processors are mere overheating jokes. The 870 is still far superior; I've tested them both in games now. The 870 has better sustained performance, less overheating, and is far superior overall.

I'm not sure it's Qualcomm's fault for these overheating issues. It's the OEMs who should implement better device cooling systems.

Are you sure the outdated 870 is superior? Performance-wise the newer processors are much more powerful though.

The Snapdragon 870 3.2GHz is likely to be better than the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 2.8GHz because it has a higher clock speed. The Snapdragon 870 is 14% higher CPU clock speed (3200 vs 2800 MHz) I know the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is letest 4NM Based Chipset and Snapdragon 870 is 7NM Based Chipset But The old Snapdragon 870 is more powerful then the letest 7+ Gen 3. The Snapdragon 7+Gen 3 is made for Low Budget Mid Range Smartphones. The Snapdragon 870 Chipset is a Flagship level Processer Made for Higher Range Smartphones and Tablet. So I proudly say to us "Old is Gold"

Wow, the next time I upgrade to a Gen 4 or Gen 5, I'm going to triple the GPU power. These V9s are going wild. Granted, the 870 is essentially a recycled 865 from pre-COVID times, but still.
