    - The MediaTek G99 Ultimate is essentially the same chip as the G99, with a slightly higher clock speed and no noticeable performance difference. "Ultimate" naming was added for marketing purposes and could confuse the average consumer.

Why is the G99 considered mid-range? It wasn't considered mid-range even when it was launched, and particularly now, it isn't. Both are budget chipsets.

G99 still found its way to midrange devices when it was first launched but it makes sense that it's actually a low end one regarding it's release date and GPU score which is not suitsble for gaming at all

Kauรงuk, Bro u r wrong I have realme 10 8gb(g99) ram I had no problem in user interface also even at Max settings played free fire with no lag, I agree now it's considered old but back then it was a good option

Smj, g99 is a rebranded g96, that is itself a rebranded g90t launched in 2019 and at that time it punches above its classes with snapdragon 845 level of performance due to its 60fps pubg gameplay, now a days it just a resurected chip with 6nm effieciency and low midrange performance
