I suspect that MediaTek is once again cheating results in AnTuTu. The Dimensity 7200 has strangely high CPU scores, even though in Geekbench 6, both Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Exynos 1480 destroy the Dimensity 7200.

It may look like it, but it's not so. It seems the device manufacturers are the ones throttling it's performance. Check the nothing phone 2A.

Samsung has the potential to outperform others with integration similar to Apple. However, they persist in using outdated technology in their processors, which perform slower compared to Snapdragon and Mediatek. This undermines user experience with Samsung phones, often leading people to switch to Apple.

Samsung is going head-to-head with Mediatek and Qualcomm with their new Exynos 1480. It's on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 in the high-end category, and with the Dimensity 7200 in the mid-range category. However, this comparison primarily pertains to the Dimensity 7200 vs the Exynos 1480. The scores are very close to one another, thanks to Samsung's collaboration with AMD (Samsung Xclipse 530). But don't expect it to compete with the higher-end variants like the Exynos 2200 and Exynos 2400. At the very least, it delivers good performance on mid-range Samsung devices such as the new Galaxy A55.

The Bro 870 is a million times better and 100 times more powerful than the Exynos 1480. Even the older Dimensity 1200 significantly surpasses this inferior Exynos 1480 model. Both the GPU and CPU capabilities of the Dimensity 1200 are twice as good as the so-called "Exynos trash".

It's definitely not on par with the 870, but it's comparable to the 865. I'm sure it will improve with optimization; however, Samsung is too reluctant to provide an 870's level of performance for a mid-range phone.

The Snapdragon 870 and Dimensity 8200 were fantastic flagship killer chipsets, far superior to this new mid-range chipset. You should try comparing this chipset with the new Dimensity 8300 that powers the Poco X6 Pro. Yeah, you can't compare because it's much more powerful than your Exynos 1480, Sammy boy. You'd be better off catching some sleep and dreaming of a better chipset from Samsung.

The Exynos 1480 doesn't hold up well against both the Dimensity 8200 and the Snapdragon 870, particularly in terms of the GPU (which performs more than 1.5x faster) and storage speed. It is, however, only marginally inferior to the D7200 - it has that going for it. For the same price, you could instead opt for the Xiaomi 13T or the Vivo V30 to maintain Snapdragon 888 level performance while still securing a good camera.

Correction, Nah the Exynos 1480 is slightly better than the Dimensity 7200 bc it's about 20% better in CPU while having similar GPU performance

Sammo, This "million times" and "100 times better" are actually 12% different in performance, bruh. And it's only in Antutu. So stop the cap.

The Exynos 1000 series has stepped up its game with the introduction of the Exynos 1480, which is already comparable to the Dimensity 7200. It is definitely now a worthy mid-range chipset. I hope that they can manage to break into the SD 7 Gen 3 bracket next year. The Exynos 2400 has also demonstrated great potential for the future. I am looking forward to seeing more from Samsung next year.

Who told you?, Yes, I suspect that MediaTek is once again manipulating results in AnTuTu. It's producing higher CPU scores, even though in Geekbench 6, the Exynos 1480 is shown to be 33% faster.

vyi, No I have vivo t3 , dim 7200 is that powerfull but remain lower in multicore performance. It has a715 core at 2.8 hrz which have twice ipc than a78 , performs more efficiently so you can't see difference in antutu cpu score

vyi, Dim 7200 phones all phones comes with ufs 2.2 , so you cant tell performance with ufs 3.1 , they are pretty equivalent Like exynos 1380 and dim 1380 both have same performance.
