I don't see a need for upgrade coming from i7 13700H. AI is just a gimmick. TBH performance wise, I couldn't complain anything yet. Not a major deal to upgrade at all sense.

Adobe & Autocad power user here, used both Lenovo P1 Grn 6 & 7. Gen 6 was better if you only needed the 1x Nvme slot & could deal with the loud fans & large heavy powerbrick. More efficient and better real physical button trackpoint. The 155h idle, low voltage mode on its P and E cores is too low and has lots of issues when it boosts... delays in windows, lag, stutters, program crashing, annoying audio lags when playing music.... It is great for battery life and modern codecs when editing video. No issues with Autodesk software like Revit. In adobe I am mainly in photoshop..even using camera RAW the most stripped back RAW photo edited (lightroom uses it in its back end hidden)...it struggles with 100mp files & has those lag issues. My P1 Gen 1, with the 8850H even had no issues. The Gen 6 was smoother. ACR camera raw switches between low & performance regularly on the 155h from the 1.8ghz to the 3.8ghz, I never see is get in anywhere in the 4 - 4.8ghz realm... Unfortanyly this was the Tick series of Ultra chips & ALOT of issues with its low power design. The Tock design should hopefully be better. Its a shame, when spending $5000 AUD on a laptop to just work & what is advertised to be better then the Gen 6 is not the case. This was also similar from moving from the Gen 5 to the Gen 6...... The Gen 5 was the pinacle.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 155H clearly comes out on top here, especially when it comes to integrated GPU performance. Its Intel Arc is comparable to the GeForce RTX 3050.

"Clearly comes out on top" is a bit of a stretch if we're talking solely about its computational prowess. Some people may not need a powerful GPU depending on their workflow (e.g. coding).

John, The Ultra Cores are made especially for AI performances, and GPU is crucial for AI training. The Ultra 7 is better in every aspect, besides gaming on a device with a dedicated GPU available.

This is a tie. At the sacrifice of performance, the new Intel Ultra 7 155H adds greater battery life and iGPU performance. The pure performance enthusiasts, who do not need their GPU, will prefer the Intel i7 13700H.
