Very good laptop manufacturers don't produce many Ryzen laptops due to chip shortages from AMD.

It has nearly the same performance, but the Ryzen 7 7840HS is better for energy efficiency and iGPU performance (380% better). For those who want to do game or video edit, the Ryzen 7 7840HS is the better choice. If you live in an area that has a low cost per watt electric bill costs (USA major cities) and don't need the iGPU for your workflow, going with the Intel Core i7 13700H is fine.

I own the Lenovo Geekpro G5000 (the Chinese version of the Lenovo LOQ) equipped with a Ryzen 7 7840H and RTX 4060. The Radeon 780M iGPU is EXCEPTIONAL. I frequently work and even game on it when my laptop isn't connected to an external monitor. It can run CS 2 on Ultra settings at 90 fps (in Full HD), though there are occasional lags due to suboptimal optimization for Radeon GPUs. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic iGPU.

neko, It’s more power-efficient to use integrated graphics. So when the laptop is unplugged it’ll switch to integrated graphics for better battery life.

Ryzen's integrated GPU is amazing. I wish I could buy a slimbook with the 7040 series chip. But it's so rare. Why don't producers make laptops with that great processor?

I wasn't on a laptop for many years now. I just needed one for Work and wanted it to be able to game some as well. I found such a Slim 7 Legion with 7840 HS and 4060 for about 1,100. I bought it on Lenovo website with a 15% off coupon. There are also Laptops with no dedicated GPU for less, I don't think they are rare.
