7+ gen 2 is better in both cpu and gpu segments(as per your survey)Then why their total score is same?funny though!make it correct.7+gen 2 is slightly more powerful than the 9200+ and slightly less powerful than the 8 gen 1.

Dimensity 9000 is obviously better(better cpu and better gpu) It’s 3D mark score is incorrect here.it scores around 8500~9000

Both CPU and GPU are better in dimensity 9000 in slight margin. Even 9000's cpu score is better in every benchmark tests. But due to optimizations or antutu's algorithm dimensity 9000's gpu score decreased. In antutu V9,the gpu scores are Sd 7+gen2-----340k Dimensity 9000------395k But in v10 Sd 7+ gen 2-------340k Dimensity 9000-------300k But in other gpu benchmark tests, dim 9000 wins. Actually Mali G710 is slightly better than adreno 725 Adreno 725

Actually Adreno 725 is the same gpu used for s8+g1 The only difference is clock speed That's why its better 7+g2 barely heats up and more sustained performance

I've recently ordered a phone equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 (Poco F5), and it's currently on its way to me. I'm impressed to find that the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 is more or less on par, or even superior in some aspects, to the Dimensity 9000. I wouldn't consider myself a heavy gamer. While I've never delved into larger games such as PUBG or Genshin Impact, I do play some lighter games. The most crucial aspect to me is that phones should function swiftly and smoothly, regardless of whether we play heavy games or not. I firmly believe I made a wise decision purchasing a phone equipped with a powerful processor like Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen. Interestingly, the SD 7 Plus Gen 2 is quite comparable to Snapdragon 8/8+ Gen 1, albeit with a slightly weaker GPU. I purchased the Poco F5 in approximately $293. This makes it an excellent bargain for such a high-quality device. The phone boasts a 12-bit AMOLED display, HDR+, Dolby Vision, and a brightness level of up to 1000 nits. Additionally, it has a 5000 mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capability, a feature I highly appreciate. I wouldn't have minded a 120W charging option, but this will suffice. If given the opportunity, I certainly would've preferred to purchase a phone equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Dimensity 9300, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, or even a Dimensity 9200+ powered device. However, I have no complaints about the decision to go with a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2-powered phone. I'm eager to get my hands on it.

Yes, this is undoubtedly a smart choice. For the price, it's the best. The 7+gen2 is hugely superior to the standard 8gen1. Surprisingly, it even surpasses the 8+gen1 in certain aspects – the L cache in 7+gen2 is larger, according to the website. Although it may sound odd, it's true. Also, due to the lower frequencies, it won't heat up as much and will be less prone to performance issues. I see no reason to invest in a more powerful processor at the moment.

The lower TDP (Thermal Design Power) consumption of the 9000 can potentially result in better battery life.

While the GPU of the 7+ Gen 2 may be inferior to that of the Dimensity 9000, its actual gaming performance isn't. I've played both Honkai Impact 3 and Genshin Impact at high settings with 60fps, and the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 provides a stable fps and smoother gameplay than the Dimensity 9000. Additionally, the image rendered by the Snapdragon chip is sharper, making it easier on my eyes during gameplay. I'm not sure if it's due to MediaTek's optimization or lack thereof, but considering the Dimensity 9000 has been on the market for a few years, its performance is quite disappointing. Some might argue that the ISP of the 9000 is superior to the 7+ Gen 2, but that's only true with optimal internet connections. Otherwise, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is more than adequate for most users.

Yes, what you say is correct. Snapdragon processors are indeed characterized by their advanced support and superior, stable performance. This is the truth.

Yeah, I think so, because here in India the prices are going to be similar. Dimensity and Snapdragon both have 18-bit ISP. SD 8 gen 1(almost similar to 7+gen 2) has a 3.2 gigapixel/s and dimensity 9000 has 9 gigapixel/s. So Dimensity has a better ISP.

If Dimensity 9000 phones are cheaper than 7+ gen 2 phones, then it's equally powerful and efficient for the price-to-performance ratio right? Also which one has better ISP? That matters a lot.
