Since Snapdragon888... Qualcomm was forced to use Samsung nodes due to TSMC 4nm Foundries are dedicated to Apple Bionic Chips... Snapdragon888 and 8gen1 heat and Throttle quickly after 30min of Heavy Gaming up to 50°C due to Samsung Process Nodes being too Inferior compared to TSMC. The Snapdragon870 and Earlier use TSMC process...it has an average temp of 45°C but that was hours of Gaming lol.

Messier83, That’s why you need a phone with active cooling so performance doesn’t drop and stability is just as good as 870, like with the red magic 7pro.

Because architecture and instruction set is more important than frequency alone.

The Snapdragon870 uses Earlier CortexA77 cores and TSMC 7nm process meanwhile the 8gen1 uses the Latest Cortex X-2 and a mix of the Latest CortexA710 and CortexA510 also with flagship Samsung 4nm process... These were the most Advanced and Latest Cortex Cores and you need to research Dumbass before commenting on something irrelevant... The only pros of 870 were using the TSMC process which is more Optimized and Efficient than any Samsung process Nodes which are prone to Throttling and Heating
