Even after 6 years, it's crazy how A12 Bionic is still able to put up a fight with 8 Elite! Although it lost by around 3x margin, it shows how far ahead of the curve Apple really was to stand its ground even 6 years later. I have an iPhone XS at home as a secondary device and I still use it frequently for social media apps and facetime. It's on iOS 18.2.1 and still buttery smooth.

Dude, stop talking nonsense. The Elite literally beat the A17 Pro itself, and by saying that, you're implying the A12 is still competing with the A17.
