Though the Tensor is relatively more powerful in some aspects, 870 is still the way to go for gaming.

"Too expensive" 600 USD is not expensive, half the price of flagship phones while offering good UI and camera. The chip just sucks though, prefer the 870 for gaming and tensor for casuals.

It's getting old tho, there should be at least one version on 6nm, but here we are 2 years later sd870 a gold standard of budget gaming xD not to mention that a 700k score in antutu is already achievable by snap 7 gen1 with half the power consumption.

MefjuPL, And yet for an "old chipset" the SD 870 still performs way better than the snap 7 gen 1. Also, devices running SD 870 rn are cheaper like the poco f3, I'd rather get that for gaming
