r232, They technically didn’t “make” this SoC, they used already existing Qualcomm and Mediatek products, they assembled this SoC

Tenetium, But they made their soc based on all the available information of previous SOCs by these huge companies like Qualcomm and MediaTek. Unlike these two that went from scratch to this days.

No doubt, the processor's solid, especially for their first flagship attempt. But yeah, it’s a bit of a power-hungry chip. (T800 modem not power efficient.) If efficiency matters to you, it might be smart to wait for the Xiaomi Next Xring X02. It’s expected to bring better hardware and optimization. For now, stick with a well-optimized Snapdragon or a recent Dimensity chip from MediaTek; both deliver a great balance of performance and battery life.

No doubt xring as a first gen processor competing it's opponents as good as possible. TSMC latest technology help them a lot to achieve this position. Whatever, Xiaomi should be careful about HYPEROS now to make it more optimize in cases long run on budget to flagship killer phones. And, I hope Xiaomi will be back to the top choice list like 2017-2020. That time was the golden days for Xiaomi budget and midrange phones.

Maybe the cpu doesn't work if you don't see ads , Xiaomi is not trustworthy (respect users and privacy) ads anywhere on the system , you should be using DNS for live with Xiaomi UI , and you putting yourself at risk in terms of personal data and payments and maybe have some issues with network (latency ,ping , speed of download and upload) it's dependent on server's of the DNS
